Running: Traversing Fort Bonifacio And Makati

I had two things lined up to do last night. First was I needed to train for the upcoming Condura Marathon on Feb 7. The other was that I needed to meet Coy at Greenbelt so I can claim my Saosin tickets. I knew if did one after the other, I’d be finishing up too late already so I did it all in one go.

I ran a whole lot last night. 17 kilometers to be exact. I went down the office to change a little before 5.30 and I was up and running by 5.45. I was supposed to meet him around 7 and if I ran straight to greenbelt, I would get there early since Greenbelt was just a mere 5 kilometers away from the Fort. I extended my run around the Fort a little before going in Mckinley Drive.

I got to Greenbelt early even with some added distance. I got there at 6.30. With Coy still in transit, I messaged him to message me when he was there already because I’d be running around the area. I ran around the Legaspi area until he got there. I never knew that a running area existed there. There was a small park where runners could jog around in. There was also this big loop around the area that I ran around in for about 6 times. I took it easy running around the area. I didn’t want to lose too much steam going back.

After those 6 rounds, I finally got a message from Coy that he was there already.

Saosin Tickets! Thanks a lot Coy for the tickets!

As soon as I got the tickets, I headed of back to Fort. Mckinley Drive was the way back again and it felt much faster. I went down the secret training grounds to add a little more mileage and to fetch my camera from Kenneth. Over all, it was a nice two birds with one stone incident.

Here’s a link to the route I ran.
