Running: What it has done to me

The photo on the left was taken last June 2009. It was in this 10k trail run that I joined. I was 6 months into running back then. I was fat. I was overweight. I was flubber. The photo on the right was taken last February 7, 2010. That was me finishing my third marathon.

After running a little over a year and a half, I could, with utmost, confidence say that it has been great for me.

I lost weight.

I got a lot more healthier.

I got a little boost in confidence.

I feel a little bit better about myself.

Most importantly, I gained a lot of friends in the process.

What has running done to you?

Running: A Year From Now

A year from now, I will go back to and I will compete. I will conquer. I will triumph. I will be stronger.

I will look back at this photo and see how much I have improved. I will look back and see how much I have done in a year.

Next year will see a better me.

I’m still in awe from last weekend’s Triathlon that I shot. I was very envious with the athletes.

Next year, expect to see me racing along with them.
