We Inspire

Got around to finally completing the video that Sid and I have been planning for the longest time. I wanted to make it look like those SDE’s that videographers do for weddings. I don’t think I nailed it just yet but I think I came pretty close.

I used a 5dm2 for most of the shots with a 50mm mounted on it. For the underwater shots, I used my Go Pro. I need to learn how to balance out the colors on that one. I am finally getting the hang of Final Cut Pro. I need more disk space though! The videos I converted to Apple Proress ate up my HD. Music is Spotlight (Oh Nostalgia) from Patrick Stump

GoPro Bike Test

I recently acquired a GoPro HD cam and I am loving it. It will be a great compliment to my 5dm2. I love how you can virtually mount it anywhere.

Mounted it under my aerobars and on the left side of my rear tire. Looked ok. Expoure on the shots mounted under the aerobar could use a little work though.

Had a lot of fun editing but I had to export the raw files to MOV first before I could finally get them into FCP.

I need to make some DIY mountings so I can put the cam anywhere.

Bored with Absolutely Nothing to Do

I was on call in the office from 9 pm up till 530 am the next day. There was some hustle problems the first half of the night but everything was OK after that. I was happy that nothing really major came up.

This is a product of my time in the office. Had to keep myself busy or else my imagination will go wild with all kinds of ghosts and apparitions.
