I timed my 100 meter laps in my last training session and here are the results. I had at least 2 minutes to rest in between the lapsĀ and I managed to average at below 2:13. Decent already but I would want to get faster. If I had the opportunity to swim with some of the pool monsters, they would still leave me in their water dust. I did my first 100 as a warm up and after that, I started timing myself.

Team Endure and the Immuvit Race Against Time Run
Endure spent the last Sunday doing an easy 5k at the recently concluded Immuvit Race Against Time Run. It was a fun free event where anybody was free to join. It was part of Immuvit’s campaign to raise awareness about feeling young and not thinking about your age.
I had fun running my 5k with Erick. I paced with him and it was fast. I think we managed to do a 25 minute 5k. Had trouble keeping up with him and I think he had trouble holding himself back so I can keep up. I was good training for me.
Open Water Swimming
I am far from calling myself a good competitive swimmer but I think I am getting there. I went up to Caliraya over the weekend and I spent a good amount of time in the water trying to acclimatize myself with how it feels like to swim in open waters. Not to brag but I am no stranger to the open water but my first encounter left me seasick which is why I took this opportunity to get a better feel of the water.
Endure Takes On Vibram Five Fingers
Thanks to our resident ultramarathoner and ultra-triathlete Ronald, the team also got some pairs of VFF’s for running use.
Thanks to Cherry and Carlos for experimenting with us! We will not fail you guys! We will put them to good use! I’ll try to come up with a review as well in the coming weeks!

If you aren’t busy this Sunday, come over to BHS for a VFF run. It will be a lot of F-U-N fun!!

Sponge Cola in Eastwood
Sponge Cola is a band with kitschy look and kitschy sound that never fails to amaze me. Tricia and I were walking around in Eastwood one evening and by some strange of luck (Good or Bad, depending on how you put it), we chanced upon Sponge Cola. It was a good thing I had my camera with me. We took turns shooting. It was a good run for the 17-40L we just got recently too.
I had a little bit of trouble shooting with the short range. The 17-40 is not long enough for events like these. It was a good thing my cam went up to 21 megapixels. I was able to crop like crazy.
